Last week Spokes Canterbury put out a questionnaire to Ĺtautahi Christchurch Mayoral, Councillor and Community Board candidates.
Below are the responses that we have received. Candidates that did not respond to a question have been marked as a “non-response.” If we do hear from them we will endeavour to update their responses so you can make an informed decision. Candidates that did not respond are not included. The survey was sent out on the 2nd of September to the email address they provided for the election.
As the local cycling advocacy group, our questions to candidates focused on active transport options, improving safety for school children, and ways we can encourage more people to cycle every day!
